Common questions
Questions from dental offices about AI missed-call answering.
Does my main office number change?
No. Patients keep calling your current office number. Missed or busy calls can be forwarded so the AI can answer.
Is this used for medical advice?
No. The AI does not give medical advice. It answers common caller questions for the office, captures the request, and sends your front desk a call summary.
How fast can we be live?
Setting up your office takes a few minutes. AI answering availability is then confirmed and remains subject to MCD readiness checks. SMS follow-up starts only after required registration is approved; MCD does not control that timing.
Do we need to handle SMS approval ourselves?
No. MCD submits the required business texting registration. The review happens outside MCD, so we do not control the decision or timing.
What if SMS is delayed or not approved?
Your paid AI call answering and Workspace service can continue at the same subscription price. SMS is an additional feature and does not determine whether the paid service is available.
What happens if a patient sends STOP?
If a patient replies STOP, texting stops for that number automatically. This helps you stay compliant without extra work.
Can I add another business location?
Yes. Each location has its own business phone number, address, office details, and AI knowledge.
When does billing start?
Your 14-day trial starts when the first MCD AI number is assigned. The paid plan starts automatically after day 14 unless canceled. If AI minutes run out sooner, AI answering pauses until you choose Start paid plan now; SMS usage does not trigger early conversion.
